Custom edible images are fully edible prints made with food-grade ink on a thin edible sheet. You upload your design (photo, logo, characters, text, etc.), and we print it using edible ink on an A4 edible sheet that you can place directly onto cakes, cupcakes, cookies, drinks or other desserts. They look like a regular printed photo, but they’re completely safe to eat and designed to melt into your icing for a seamless, professional finish.

We print on A4 edible sheets (approximately 8.3" x 11.7"). You can choose: • One large design (for a full cake top), or • Multiple smaller designs on one sheet (for cupcakes, cookies, or minis). If you’d like multiple images on a single sheet (e.g., 12 circles for cupcakes), just let us know in the form and upload the file(s). We’ll lay them out to make the best use of the A4 edible sheet.

You can choose uncut or precision cut: • Uncut sheets – You receive the full A4 edible sheet, and you cut out the images yourself. • Cut sheets – We do the precision edible image cutting for you so your toppers arrive ready to place on your cakes, cupcakes, or cookies. You can select your preference in the order form (cut vs. uncut). If you have a specific shape or size in mind (e.g., 2.5" circles for cupcakes), include that in the notes section.

We recommend placing your order at least 24–48 hours in advance, especially for busy weekends or holidays. However, we do often offer same-day edible image printing in Toronto, depending on current capacity. If you need same-day: • Place your order as early as possible (before 1pm) • Select the “rush / same-day” option in the form (if available) or mention your requested pickup time in the notes We’ll confirm by message or email whether same-day is possible for your specific order and date.

We accept most common file formats, including: • JPEG / JPG • PNG • PDF (for logos and layouts) For best results: • Use high-resolution images (at least 300 dpi if possible) • Avoid blurry screenshots or photos taken from far away • If you’re downloading from WhatsApp or social media, try to get the original file instead of a compressed version If your file quality is too low, we’ll let you know before printing so you can decide how to proceed.

Basic adjustments are usually included, such as: • Resizing the image to fit the sheet • Centering/cropping • Adding simple text (name, age, short phrase) If you need more detailed design work (collages, multiple photos, heavy editing, or custom layouts), we may charge a small design fee depending on the complexity. You can describe what you need in the notes section of the form, and if extra design time is required, we’ll let you know before we start.

We do our best to achieve vibrant, true-to-file colours, but there are a few things to keep in mind: • Colours may appear slightly different because we’re printing with edible ink on an edible sheet, not regular paper. • Every screen (phone, laptop, tablet) displays colours differently. • Very bright neons, metallics, gold and rose gold tones don’t print exactly as shown on screen. That said, we use high-quality edible inks and premium A4 edible sheets to achieve the sharpest, most accurate result possible for edible printing.

Keep your edible images: • In the sealed bag we provide • In a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture • Do not refrigerate or freeze the unused sheet, as humidity can affect the texture Under proper storage conditions, edible images can typically last up to a few months, but we recommend using them within 2–4 weeks for the best colour and texture. Once placed on a cake or dessert, they should be consumed within the normal freshness window of your baked goods.

General tips: • Apply to smooth, slightly tacky surfaces like fresh CHILLED buttercream, ganache, or fondant. • Make sure the surface is not soaking wet or extremely dry. On buttercream or ganache: • Chill the cake until the buttercream is firm but not rock-hard • Gently peel the edible image from the backing sheet • Place it onto the surface and lightly smooth from the center outward On fondant: • Brush a very light layer of water or edible glue on the fondant • Apply the image and smooth gently On cookies: • Apply to fresh royal icing, buttercream, or a thin layer of piping gel. Avoid over-handling the sheet, and try not to move it once it’s placed. Apply all edible images in a smooth motion to prevent air bubbles from forming.

Yes, our edible images are 100% food-grade and safe to eat when used as intended. We use: • Edible ink specifically made for food use • Premium A4 edible sheets (commonly starch, sugar, or frosting based) If you have specific allergy concerns, please reach out before ordering and we’ll let you know the exact ingredients used in the sheets and inks. Ingredients: food starch-modified, maltodextrin, sugar, glucose, water, vegetable coconut oil, glycerin, cellulose gum, xanthan gum, gum arabic, citric acid, polysorbate 60, vanillin, titanium, dioxide color, potassium sorbate (preservative)

We can print any image you provide, but it is your responsibility to ensure that you have the right to use and print that image.
